The Concept of the Logo for the Lao PDR’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2024
This logo visual identity is representing for the Lao PDR’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2024.
The Lao PDR’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2024 logo consists of three main elements:
• “ASEAN” rendered in stylistic Lao scripts exhibit traditional Lao aesthetic designs, conveying Lao culture and artistic traditions.
• “Lao PDR 2024” signifies the Lao PDR assuming the role of ASEAN Chairmanship in 2024.
• “ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience” is the official theme of the Lao PDR’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2024.

First element: The circular shape represents the globe and symbolises ASEAN’s relations and cooperation with external partners worldwide.
Second element: This design element forms letter “C” to symbolise “Connectivity”.
Third element: This design element forms letter “R” to symbolise “Resilience”.
Comprising four colours of the ASEAN Flag and Emblem
The colours used in the logo represent the colours of the ASEAN Flag and Emblem: red, blue, yellow and white.
• Red depicts courage and dynamism.
• Blue represents peace and stability.
• Yellow symbolises prosperity.
• White represents purity.
